Getting to Zwolle
By train
Zwolle is very well connected by train. From Amsterdam, the journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes; from Utrecht, approximately an hour. Zwolle’s central station is within walking distance of the city center.
By car
Zwolle is easily reached via highways A28 and A50 from various parts of the Netherlands. The city center is largely car-free, and parking there can be expensive. For cheaper parking, use P+R Hanzelaan, conveniently located near the center.
Getting around in Zwolle
Zwolle’s compact city center is ideal for exploring on foot or by bike. There are plenty of cycling facilities and OV-fiets rental bikes are available at the station. City buses run frequently to neighborhoods outside the center.
